Film Review #4 Matt and Kim It's Alright Music Video

I really enjoyed this video. The two singers performed in a bed, where they danced. The moves were choreographed and came out amazing!  You never see videos like this where the creativity is so simple, yet so fun to watch. If you watch all of the other Matt and Kim videos, you'll see how their videos are unlike any others! This video had much work put into it, and I'm so happy I watched it!

Article 26.

Film Review 3 on R'ha short film

This short film start off with a unique creature/main character that was trapped. It was amazingly visually dynamic and I really enjoyed all of the special effects along with the story as the creature/main character escaped. The film I'm guessing takes place in the future, where human supposedly are extinct, and robot and aliens took over.

Symbolism Brainstorm Blog Post

Today we looked at Dan Mountford's work on Flickr and talked about how we would combine out portraits with symbols. We discussed symbolism and brainstormed about what symbols we would use to describe ourselves.

On your blog, post your brainstorm sheet (either by posting a photo of it, or by typing what you wrote) and write 2-3 sentences reflecting on what 3 objects you might use as symbols in your own portrait composition.

After reviewing Dan Mountford's work, I decided that I would definitely be using a horse, nails, and nature in symbolism selfie that I will be doing on photoshop. 

Film Review #2 Lee Daniels' The Butler

The Butler is the life story about a man named Cecil on his journey while being the Butler at a small farm home to a Butler at the white house. I really enjoyed this film, but of course some parts are very touchy when you see all the pain and trauma african americans, people of color and different ethnicities went through things. It's very sad in some scenes, but it's the truth, and it's what happened. Very good, educational film that shows little slavery, but what happened to the African American people as they fought to gain rights.

Film Review #1 The Mortal Instruments

The Mortal Instruments is the story about a girl who is unaware that everything she was told and raised up on is a lie. Lily Collins plays the main character who I'm not sure the name is where her best friend in the movie is Simon, who is played by Robert Sheehan. The movie is a love story but not between the two, but with Lily Collins and a guy who saves her life. If you're into sci-fi and what not, then you'll love this film. I know I do. Everything about it was really good, and it will keep you wanting more. It's a triangle story but also a very good thriller if you like fantasy characters.
